• Extensive business opportunities and increased regional visibility Specific activities are planned to expose participating companies to the regions’ market. The names of the participating companies and their specific operations will be presented in a report, stated on the PEA website including links and also during exhibitions. The companies will therefore be visible on, and be given access to, the network and competence register.
• Strategic dialogue – coordinated discussions. All Network participants will be offered confidential dialogue opportunities with a Process Leader and, if required, suitable expert advice.
• Detailed development discussions. All Network participants will be offered confidential dialogue opportunities with a Process Leader relating to own product and marketing development.
• Situational and future analyses within Printed Electronics – Early access to research results - Access to information provided by the projects’ organisations, from conferences and newsfeed to trade reports. - Insight into research and development activities by Acreo and Linköping University in the Printed Electronics field. - Opportunity to influence research direction of Printed Electronics.
PEA will arrange workshop relating to various interesting usage and production aspects within Printed Electronics.
Printed Electronics Arena (PEA) Network The Network has been formed so that together the markets’ participants within research, the University, society and private sector can work towards regional development of operations which are based on incorporating Printed Electronics in marketing activities, manufacture and product development. PEA is one of five VINNVÄXT initiatives and has been granted SEK M 2 financial support by VINNOVA covering the period up to 30 June 2008. Additional financial support of approximately SEK M 4 is from Norrköping, Katrineholm and Åtvidaberg municipalities and also at present from Acreo and Norrköping Science Park. This support comes in the form of cash as well as work hours.
Annual fee Annual participation fee to join the Network is SEK 10,000 per 12 month period and is used to cover costs of the above mentioned project activities as well as production of small prototype series of Printed Electronics.
