Vision for PEA (Printed Electronics Arena) means creating sustainable, long-term growth within the Norrköping region through commercialisation and exploitation of the extensive research and development activities which are conducted at Linköping University (LiU) and Acreo in the new technological field of Printed Electronics.
PEA is actively promoted by Norrköping Science Park and is one of five VINNVÄXT initiatives within the field of Printed Electronics. One third of project activities are financed by VINNOVA with the remaining 2/3 rd’s coming from Norrköping, Katrineholm and Åtvidaberg municipalities as well as contributions coming from Acreo and Norrköping Science Park.
The PEA network was established for the market participants within the municipality, university and private sector. These so-called Triple Helix partners who together can work towards regional development of organisations using Printed Electronics as the basis. This can, for example, involve cooperating on marketing activities, production and product development.
The aim is to create a network of various processes relating to Printed Electronics which provides the participating companies with the opportunity to exchange experiences and make use of research and development results which have already been achieved.
